Fiker leather is well known for its quality leather products like jackets, Purse, Belt and Wallets. The existing small scale garment factory is located at rented premises located in Addis ketem sub-city commonly known as kuas meda mazoria area. Major suppliers of Fiker leather are Ethiopia Tanner, Sheba tannery, and Kobolcha tannery.
The finished leather goods are being distributed to sales out lets /shops/ located at well known trading centers of Tana city center, Yirga Haile trading center and Addis Ababa stadium shop center. Currently, The Factory is producing More than 100 leathers per day solely for local market.
Considering the country’s resource potential and export opportunities in leather industry, their previous experience, and the investment incentives, the project promoters decided to invest and setup a modern leather garment factory in one of the growing suburb Burayou town on leased land of 2,500 hectares.
